Jobsearch - Position Vacant - Farmhand

A farming property in Kalangadoo requires a general farmhand. Position is fulltime.

Duties will include:

• General farm hand responsibilities including all row crop duties from ground preparation, crop tendering, irrigation and equipment maintenance
• Tractor and farm machinery operations
• Chemical and fertilizer applications
• May assist with livestock work in sheep and cattle husbandry

Requirements:

• Car licence & own vehicle
• First Aid Certificate is desirable
• Chemical Certificate would be highly regarded
• Practical experience in broadacre &/or irrigated cropping desirable
• Good mechanical ability and the drive to learn and improve
• Have effective time management and organisation skills
• Be willing to work flexible hours
• Enjoy being part of a team and comfortable working on your own
