A Bakery Business in Mount Gambier seeking Kitchenhand/Cook with a focus on cooking and preparing pies, sausage roll and pastry fillings for daily production

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                          

  • Preparing and cooking savoury fillings for pies, sausage rolls, and pasties
  • Supporting daily bakery production to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Following all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Assisting in other bakery production areas as needed

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in a bakery, commercial kitchen, or food production environment
  • Confidence with cooking and food preparation
  • Strong time management and ability to work efficiently
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to handle busy production periods
  • Passion for food and pride in craftsmanship
