Jobsearch - Position Vacant - Mechanical Fitter (Leading Hand)

A Business in Mount Gambier is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for the timber Industry. The position is fulltime.

Duties will include:                 

• Installation of equipment
• Alignments
• Stripping and refurbishing
• Attending to Plant machinery breakdowns
• Maintain, test and repair of machinery’
• Reading technical drawings

Requirements: 

• Must be trade qualified – Mechanical Fitter/ Fitter  and turner
• Knowledge and experience in equipment installations
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Must  have a strong safety focus
• Previous  experience in the Timber Harvesting and processing  industry ( highly desirable )
• Able to work autonomously
