Jobsearch - Position Vacant - Temp General Farm Hand/ Feedlot Assistant (Millicent)

A Farming operations on the outskirts of Millicent requires a General Farm Hand Temp/ Feedlot Assistant. Position is Casual for approximately a 4 to 6 week period

Duties will include:                 

• To assist in the general farming operations
• Husbandry of all livestock
• Operation of heavy equipment and materials handling equipment
• Undertake housekeeping of workplace and surrounds
• Maintain high standard of ration mixing and delivery to livestock

Requirements: 

• A current Drivers licence is required for this position
• HR licence is desirable
• Hold current First Aid Certificate
• Physically fit and capable
• Previous experience in the agricultural industry
• Demonstrated sound animal husbandry skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Adhere to and cultivate a working environment based on safe  work practices
• Experience in operating farm equipment
• Keen eye for detail
• The ability to work within a team and alone
