 A Mount Gambier Business is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while promoting and selling a range of products, including lotto tickets. You will be an important part of our daily operations and customer experience.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                

• Assist Customers with enquiries and pruchases in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the point-of-sale system for retail items, services, and lotto ticket sales
• Provide accurate information onf lotto games, prizes and promotions
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well organised store environment
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Handle cash transactions and balance registers accurately

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and confidence handling cash
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Professional, helpful, polite, and attentive to all customers
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends
