Jobsearch - Position Vacant - Branch Manager

A Mount Gamier business is seeking a highly motivated Branch Manager to join their team. The position is Full Time, Monday to Friday.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                

  • Oversee/ running of the branch & day to day branch operations
  • General management and supervision of staff
  • Co-ordinate and lead staff to meet requirements
  • Take charge in allocating jobs and ensure timely completion
  • Provide ‘hands on’ support as and when required
  • Ensure good levels of communication with staff to build and maintain employee morale at a high level
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop new business opportunities and grow the existing business
  • Assist customers with product selection and provide product information
  • Provide expert product knowledge and guidance to clients to help them find the perfect solutions for their needs
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Ensure Quality Management processes and standards are adhered to
  • General stock handling and management
  • Respond to client enquiries both face to face, over the phone and via email
  • General administration and data entry duties as required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated Management experience in Industrial Supplies/ Automotive Industry highly desirable
  • Hold a current Class C Drivers Licence
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • High level of computer literacy and experience in MS Office
  • Self-motivated logical thinker with accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to priorities tasks, work independently, efficiently & effectively with strong time management skills
  • Ability to create and manage multiple projects within the designated timelines
  • Can work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Be a strong communicator and team player
  • Ability to work within strict quality standards and guidelines
