Factory Process Worker

A Seafood Business seeks reliable and motived process workers ahead of the busy season.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                

• Work as part of a production team
• Assist with the loading of raw materials and unloading of finished goods
• Carry and pack cartons that can weigh between 7-15kg
• Inspect and remove products that do not conform with our quality standards
• Complete pre-operational checks and support machinery operation
• Continually monitor cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring the factory and production areas are kept tidy and clean
• Follow production schedules and support output targets

Skills and Abilities:

• A hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Reasonable physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• A forklift licence is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in a factory environment is an advantage but not essential
• Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions
