Job Search - Position Vacant - Machine Operator / Storeperson

A Company based in Mount Gambier seeking a Machine Operator/Storeperson to join their team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                          

• Set up and operate manufacturing machinery
• Carry out basic quality control and inspection of products
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Use of tools and equipment within the warehouse
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Other duties as directed

Skills and Abilities:

• The ability to take direction and to meet deadlines
• Work unsupervised and show initiative
• Mechanical aptitude and problems solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude
• Have a good level of written and spoken English
• Capable of physical work with heavy lifting
• Experience in manufacturing machine operation and/or warehousing is desired but not essential
• Be flexible with varied start and finish times. Be available to work overtime if required.
