Job Search - Position Vacant - Office Assistant / Customer Service 

A Retail business in Mount Gambier is seeking an Office Assistant/Customer Service to join their team . Position is Part time

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                          

  • Process and confirm orders using our CRM, sales, and inventory systems
  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone enquiries and information requests
  • Maintain and update customer and client records
  • Liaise with both the warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and issue orders and invoices
  • Provide general administrative support, including creating/collating documents, filing, scanning, and other ad-hoc tasks
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Assist with Sales team as required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with a confident, professional phone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, flexible approach with strong attention to detail
  • A positive attitude, sense of humour, and team spirit
  • Experience with Accounting systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Candidates with experience in both accounts receivable and accounts payable will be highly regarded
