Job Search - Position Vacant - Personnel Care Worker

A Mount Gambier Living Facility supporting adults who have disabilities is seeking a Personnel Care worker to join the team. Position is Casual which will include working on a roster including day, evening, night and weekends shifts.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                

• Provide care, supervision and support for Residents
• Assisting with self medication
• Make sure the residents are washed, dressed, fed and ready for recreational activities
• Provide companionship support
• Must be able to work autonomously with the client

Skills and Abilities:

• Applicant must have effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organizational skills and demonstrate tolerance, patience and tact when dealing with residents and their families
• Able to work in a team environment
• Hold current Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)
• Hold a current DCSI working with vulnerable people
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate and CPR
