Pharmcay Assistant

A Mount Gambier Pharmacy are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. Employers will consider both Part-time and Casual applications.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:                

• Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a well-organised pharmacy environment
• Restocking and maintaining inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and products
• Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Housekeeping of the store

Skills and Abilities:

• A friendly and engaging personality with a passion for customer service
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a retail customer service role desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
• Proven attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in using computer systems
• A genuine interest in the pharmaceutical industry and a desire to provide exceptional customer care
