Job Search - Position Vacant - Shop / Bakery Assistant

A Mount Gamier Bakery Business is seeking to employ a Shop/ Bakery Assistant to join the team. The Position is 25 – 30 hours working on a 6 day roster Monday to Saturday.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:               

• Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the number one priority
• Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
• Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety
• Working the POS, Eftpos and Cash handling
• Assisting in food preparation and food handling

Skills and Abilities:

• Energetic, charismatic and genuinely possess a passion for customer service

• Previous experience in food handling and customer service
• Available to work flexible hours

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy working in a team, but also happy to be on your own
• Professional with a 'can do' attitude and self-motivated   
• Have strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable
