(ADV) Baker

A Mount Gambier Bakery seeks a fulltime Qualified Baker. Employer will also consider 3rd or 4th year apprentice

Duties:

• Preparing and produce various types bread rolls, buns, cakes and pastry products
• Opening of bakery which will involve early morning starts
• Operating machinery with confidence
• Monitoring stock control
• Liaising with front of house staff on stock quantities
• Overseeing the baking
• Glaze and decorate cakes & pastries
• Ordering baking supplies

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant trade qualification highly desirable
• Must hold knowledge and commitment to food health and safety rules
• Self motivated , able to multitask, follow instructions and be a good communicator
• Possess excellent time management skills

Position is Fulltime working Saturday mornings To a roster system.
