Short Order Cook

 A Mount Gambier Fast Food Takeaway Business are seeking experienced Cook. Hours of work include weekend shifts. 

• Duties will include:                 

  • Leading and mentoring Kitchen staff, providing hands-on training and guidance across all sections
  • Confidently working on during high-volume services while maintaining calm and control
  • Assist in menu execution, food quality, and presentation standards
  • Assisting with stock control, supplier liaison, and inventory management
  • Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative and professional team culture

   

  Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a Cook with Takeaway Experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire the team
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to balance quality and speed under pressure
  • Flexible availability across days, nights and weekends,
  • A genuine passion for modern Australian cuisine and a commitment to continuous growth
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of our customers
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
