Jobsearch- Position Vacant- Trades Assistant Labourer 

A Mount Gambier Contractor seeking a Trades Assistant/ Labourer to assist with the assembly and fabrication of steel frame buildings. Position is initially 2-3 month period.

Duties will include:                 

• Assist Trades personnel in the delivery of fabricated structures
• Assemble or dismantle components
• Use tools and equipment to prepare metal surfaces or cut metal
• Transport tools, materials and components to and from work areas
• Assist with the maintenance of the work area and equipment
• Maintain workshop
• Assist with fabrication work as required
• Use of necessary tools and equipment

Requirements: 

• Working at Heights ticket Favorable
• Previous Welding /fabrication experience
• Experience in working with steel frames and shed building is an advantage
• Experience using hand and power tools a must
• Be physically fit & health
• Understand the importance of WHS
• Ability to working in a small team and under supervision
• Fit, healthy and able for heavy work essential and ability to climb a ladder
